The Chico Lady Dragons will begin the Class A volleyball playoffs Tuesday against Waxahachie Advantage Academy at Boswell High School at 6:30 p.m. The winner will advance to play Albany.

Chico hammers Jacksboro

The Chico Lady Dragons pulled their record in District 9-2A even Tuesday night with a 11-1 victory over Jacksboro. Pitcher Malori Moss struck out 11, allowing just three hits over six innings. No. 1 Brock too much for Chico

The defending Class 2A champion and the state’s top-ranked Brock finished the first half of District 9-2A perfect after an 80-13 win over Chico. Chico was led in scoring by Shelbi Collins with five. Hannah Avants added four.
