UIL releases new alignments

Decatur and Bridgeport will be heading east to compete next fall. In the newest round of realignment released Thursday morning, Bridgeport and Decatur were moved into District 9-3A with Gainesville, Krum and Sanger. Rhodes, Lady Hounds hold off Chico

In a battle of No. 12s, Slidell’s Brooke Rhodes outgunned Chico’s Hannah Avants to lead the Lady Greyhounds to a 39-34 victory. Rhodes poured in 29 points for Lady Greyhounds.
