The Lady Tigers had stopped the Lady Dragons earlier in the season, but wins of 25-22, 25-21 and 25-23 gave Chico the victory. Jacksboro threatened to make a match of it with a 25-15 win in the third game, but Chico closed it out.
"The girls simply chose not to give up on any ball," Coach Brent Hand said. "There were several times they made a point out of a ball that looked nearly impossible to play."
Shelby Collins was credited with 16 kills, Hannah Avants nine and Mallori Moss six. Molli Umphress set it up 35 times.
Hand said Kaci Walker, Megan Greene and Kasi Tate had a big game at the service line, contributing several critical points.
Defensively, Collins dug out 16 shots, Avants seven, Melanie Gates five and Alyssa Bowyer four. Gates and Bowyer also had two kills apiece.
