A big hit from Dillon Inman forced the fumble recovered by teammate Bartolo Guevara to set up a game-tying touchdown for the Boyd Yellowjackets early in the third quarter Thursday night. It was the only luck the Yellowjackets had in slowing down the Eastland Mavericks’ balanced attack in the second half. Eastland scored on its next four possessions after Boyd tied the game at 21 to run away from the Yellowjackets in a 49-27 victory at Graham’s Newton Field in the 3A Division I Region I bi-district game.
