Caleb Read put the Panthers on top in the first quarter on a 3-yard touchdown run to give Paradise a 6-0 lead. The drive was set up by a Chico fumble on their own 36-yard line.

Another turnover set up the Panthers' second score. Kevin Jackson intercepted a Chico pass with less than a minute to go in the half. Jonathan Lee then caught a 55-yard touchdown pass from Taylor Goforth to give the Panthers a 12-0 half time lead.

After Chico turned the ball over on its first possession of the second half, Read scored his second touchdown on a 3-yard run to give Paradise an 18-0 lead.

Read would score another touchdown later in the quarter when he crossed the goal line from 1 yard out. Jarrett Roper's kick made it 25-0 Paradise.

Kyle Bradshaw added a 2-yard touchdown run later in the quarter, and Roper's kick provided the final margin of victory.

With the win, Paradise improves to 1-6 on the year and 1-1 in District 9-2A play while Chico remains winless on the year at 0-7. Next week, Paradise will host Millsap while Chico will play at Alvord.
