Bridgeport football: It's a family thing
By Travis Measley | Published Thursday, November 20, 2008
The Bridgeport varsity football team is 10-0 heading into the 3A state playoffs and sporting a No. 1 state ranking. They are the consummate "team's team." If you ask Head Coach Danny Henson, he will tell you that this team feels just like a family. Each player has a vested interest in each other, and it shows on the football field. For three sets of Bulls, however, the feeling of playing as a family takes on a more literal meeting - they are brothers.
