Paradise conquers difficult course

A tough, hilly course didn't stop the Paradise Lady Panthers from running their best times this season at Saturday's Forestburg cross country meet.

Paradise earned second place team honors, with five finishes in the top 10.

Haley Mitchell crossed the finish line first, while Shanee Gober placed third, Lauren Brinson sixth, Kim Sadler ninth and Ashley Sparks 10th. Tina Lippencott also placed 20th.

Gavin Von Hueval was the runner-up in the boys' race for the Panthers. Logan Bailey was right behind in third. Jacob Garza placed 11th, Calahan Storey 27th and Tori Glover 31st.
