Bridgeport girls improved by 40 points and placed well in a big meet, as the Sissies competed in the Cleburne-Keene Invitation cross country meet Friday.
Bridgeport was seventh in a 14-team field with 201 points. Irene Amdaor had bridgeport's top finish, running the course at Byron Stewart Park in 13:47. Tiffany Hawkins was five seconds back and placed 29th in 13:52. Bin Na Kim was close behind with a 37th place in 14:04, Emily Price placed 53rd in 14:31, and Renia mack completed the scoring in 14:33, good for 57th.
Madyson Hancock placed 72nd in 15:10 and Audra Hart also turned in a 15:10 for 73rd.
