The Chico Athletic Booster Club is selling ads for the 2009 football/volleyball program. Business ads and parent ads are available and the deadline is Aug. 3. For information, call Tobie Hart at (940) 393-9536 or Paula Remily at (940) 210-2536.
All high school athletes participating in football, volleyball and cross country will begin practices Monday morning. All athletes in ninth and 11 grades and those recovering from a major injury must have a physical in order to practice or tryout for sports.
Paradise physicals Wednesday and Thursday
Physicals for all Paradise athletes are this week at the high school gym. The girls' physicals were to be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, and the boys' physicals are 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 30. Cost of the exam is $20 per student.
Golf benefit tournament this week
The Decatur Athletic Booster Club Golf Tournament is 8 a.m. Saturday at the Decatur Country Club. The four-man scramble is $50 per person or $200 per team. Call Clay Carpenter at (903) 319-0240 or Brent Parker at (817) 319-0240.
Deadline July 31 for Bridgeport football program
Those wishing to place an ad in the 2009 Bridgeport Bull football program should call Sandy at the high school at (940) 683-4064. The last day to place an ad information is Friday, July 31.

Wise 12-and-under baseball team forming
A 12-and-under select baseball tournament team is being started in Wise County. For more information about tryouts, call Trent at (940) 399-9123 or Chuck at (817) 455-0898.
High school select basketball team
