Decatur sophomore Hayley Raasch brought home the Eagles swim team's lone victory Thursday at the Fort Worth ISD Double Dual meet at the Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center.
Raasch won the 100-yard backstroke by more than 11 seconds, finishing in 1:09. She finished third in the 200-yard individual medley, swimming a 2:37.
Zachary Baird took second in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing in 1:14. He finished sixth, swimming 2:52 in the 200-yard individual medley.
Baird teamed with Daniel Smyers, Daniel Jordan and David Talley to finish third in the 200-yard medley relay. The foursome finished in 2:16.
Jordan took third in the 200-yard freestyle, swimming 2:21. He finished fourth in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:00.
Smyers was third in the 100-yard breaststroke, completing the race in 1:24. He took sixth in the 50-yard freestyle with a 30.5. Smyers was a spot behind teammate Talley, who finished in 29.82. Talley was seventh in the 50-yard freestyle, swimming 1:13.
Baird finished sixth in the 200-yard individual medley with a 2:54.
Dominique Pishotta took fifth in the 50-yard freestyle, swimming 33.89. She was sixth in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing in 1:18. Pishotta finished just behind Casie Morgan, who finished in 1:16.
