| GINDT RESIGNS - The Decatur School Board last night accepted the resignation of Decatur Superintendent Gary Gindt, effective June 30. Board President Joey Luttrull issued a typed joint statement from the school board and Gindt after the meeting which stated, in part, "An agreement has been reached which allows Dr. Gindt the ability to pursue other interests and permits the board to pursue hiring its next superintendent. The board and Dr. Gindt have entered into the agreement believing it is in their respective best interests and in the best interests of the district." Luttrull declined further comment. |
