Not since the 1960s and the days of the Klan have I witnessed such hatred, venomous lies and unchristian behavior by so-called intellectuals and Christians.
On top of the inane "tearful" hysteria over the president's speech to schools comes a so-called minister who, from the pulpit, prays for our President's death. Forget separation of church and state. These statements are treasonous because president Obama is our commander-in-chief. And I am anxious to see if any Baptist association or Christian coalition will denounce this Phoenix, Baptist pastor Steven Anderson.
People keep spouting about "evil" in the White House? The evil is in your hearts and sick minds, and I feel sorry for your children for what you are teaching them. May God forgive all of you for not thinking for yourselves and researching the truth before standing before a microphone and professing that our president is trying to "indoctrinate" children.
Children can't even vote, and we get this hysterical rhetoric? Did you ask former President Bush what book he was reading or what subject he was discussing with the children in the Florida school on 9/11? He was in the school that day. Remember? Did any of you ask for his agenda - for the agenda of any of the preceding presidents who spoke to students?
At least President Obama is intellectual and articulate and one who could speak about education since he graduated summa cum laude from Harvard. And since so many children can't read or write when they leave high school and can't count change, maybe they should listen to someone who knows how to work hard, study hard and learn.
