| Funeral for Nelda Faye Davidson, 77, of Bridgeport was to be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, at Pleasant View Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Demmitt officiating. Davidson died Sunday, June 28, 2009, in Bridgeport. Born Feb. 23, 1932, in Gilmer to Charlie and Lillie (Robinson) Holland, she married J.W. "Bud" Davidson Sept. 8, 1952, in Gilmer. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport. She is survived by her husband; daughter, Kathy Smith and husband, Mark, of Bridgeport; son, Pete Davidson and wife, Cyndie, of Amarillo; grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson, Amy Morgan, Sarah Carney, Charlie, Dustin and Christopher Davidson; great-grandchildren, Ava, Caroline, Ali and Grant; and other relatives. Pallbearers were to be Charlie Davidson, Dustin Davidson, Christopher Davidson, Reese Landers, Eddie McKinley and Marvin Read. Wise County Messenger, July 2, 2009 |
