| Funeral for Rosemary Ann Griffeth, 65, of Decatur was to be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kevin Moore and Scot Gray officiating. Burial was to be at Sycamore Cemetery. |
| Griffeth died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009. Born June 8, 1944, in Eagle Pass to John Edward Jr. and Mary Ellen Elizabeth (Montanye) Hunter, she married Nolan Griffeth June 9, 1962, in Dallas. She was the former owner of Mode-O-Day dress shop in Decatur and was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Heather Griffeth. She is survived by her husband; sons, Gregory Griffeth and wife, JoAnn, of Decatur, Derek Griffeth and wife, Audra, of Fort Worth, Shane Griffeth and wife, Jessica, of Visalia, Calif.; grandsons, Colton, Caleb, Forest, Alexander, Zachary and Tanner Griffeth; great-granddaughter, Rorey Griffeth; sisters, Kay Broom and husband, Jerry, of Granbury, and Teresa Fisher and husband, Bobby, of Montgomery; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were to be Colton Griffeth, Caleb Griffeth, Forest Croft, Alexander Griffeth, Zachary Griffeth and Tanner Griffeth. |
