Funeral for Glinn Edward Morrow, 83, of Chico was to be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, at the Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with the Rev. Ronnie Morrow officiating. Burial was to follow at Cumby Cemetery.
Morrow died Sunday, June 28, 2009, in Chico.
Born March 10, 1926, in Elmore, Okla., to Vester and Myrtle (Cantwell) Morrow, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Betty Wallace April 12, 1950, in Bridgeport and was a retired maintenance man for Chico ISD and a member of the Chico Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherlyn Hale; five brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Ronnie Morrow and wife, Jelaine, of Kountze and Joe Morrow and wife, Kathy, of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Shannon Wyler, Lori Gee, Chad Morrow, Shawnita Lewis, Kim Van Diver and Trent Hale; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were to be Leon Gee, Chad Morrow, Trent Hale, Bryan Wyler, Terry Lewis and James Pollard.
