| Funeral for Eva Pearl Morton Young, 89, of Bridgeport is at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport with the Rev. Gary Sessions officiating. Visitation was to be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday. |
 Young died Thursday, June 25, 2009, in Bridgeport.
Born Feb. 20, 1920, in Bridgeport to Columbus and Elmirah (Taylor) Morton, she was a homemaker and a member of the Twin Oaks Assembly of God Church. She married V.T. Young Dec. 28, 1935, in Bridgeport.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, John Morton; and five sisters, Jessie VanHoose, Letha Young, Edna Howard, Linnie Moody and Lannie Gray.
She is survived by a sister, Jean Waldrop of Newark; and several nieces and nephews. |
