| Funeral for Joyce June (Wilson) Archer, 70, of Paradise was June 26 at Balsora Baptist Church with the Revs. Sonny Smith and Kenneth Woods officiating. Burial followed at Cottondale Cemetery. |
 Archer died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in Fort Worth.
Born June 20, 1939, in Corsicana to Leroy and Bessie Wilson, she married A.C. Archer June 29, 1957, in Durant, Okla. She was a hairdresser for 32 years. She was a member of Balsora Baptist Church, Good Sam RV Club and AARP.
She was preceeded in death by her brother, Johnny Lee Wilson, and granddaughters, Stacy Archer and Beth Bruce.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Dwight Archer and wife, Vinessa, C.D. (Dwayne) Archer and David Archer and wife, Mendy; grandchildren, Lorie, Dallas, Randy, Cindy, Holly, Stephanie, Carlie, Lorenda and Allison; great-grandchildren, Chris, Dustin, Mayson, Ellie, Gunner, Tianna, Kaleisha, Lanie, Maddox, Arianna, Bryan and Rebecca; sisters, Joy Brawner and husband, Dale, and Sammie Shackelford and husband, Wally; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Cindy Teague, Stephanie Archer, Randy Eyster, Lance Erwin, Matt Taylor and Ryan Ellis. |
