 Thompson died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in Fort Worth.
Born June 20, 1958, in Lubbock to Joe William and Barbara Jean (Nell) Thompson, he served in the U.S. Navy. He married Donna Lea (Thackerson) Nov. 24, 1993, in Fort Worth. He was a member of the River Oaks Nazarene Church and was a Mason at the Fort Worth Lodge.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Ashley Lauren DeGarmo and husband, James, of Mena, Ark., and Amber Darlene Davis of Fort Worth; stepson, Lonnie Van Schuyver and wife, Doll, of Newark; stepdaughters, Lenneica Stewart and husband, John, of Springtown, and Kelly Cook of Fort Worth; brother, Mark Lasis of Gainesville; granddaughter, Kaylee Michelle Dusek; 11 step-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives. |
