| Funeral service for Angel Fuqua, 43, of Paradise will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Paradise Cemetary. The Rev. Don Caldwell will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hawkins funeral home in Bridgeport. |
 Fuqua died Sunday, Aug. 31, in Fort Worth.
Born Dec. 28, 1964, to Walter Jr. and Gloria (Cowley) Grothe in Wichita Falls, she was a 1985 graduate of Paradise High School. She married Frank Fuqua on March 10, 2008, in Columbus, Ga.
She is survived by her husband; mother, Gloria Shephard of Columbus, Ga.; grandmother, Pearl Grothe of Boulder, Colo.; sisters, Melvia Garlington and husband Gerald of Plano, June Duke and husband Bobby of Cataula, Ga., Gloria Young and husband Austin of Richardson; brothers, Walton Grothe of Columbus, Ga., Jimmy Grothe and wife Sharon of Cottondale, Rickey Shephard of Bridgeport, Jack Shephard and wife Carol of Wichita Falls, James Shephard and wife Diana of Wichita Falls. |
