| Funeral for Geneva Ruth Martin Church, 75, of Fort Worth, formerly of Bridgeport, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Visitation was to be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday. |
 Church died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, in Fort Worth.
Born March 7, 1933, in Bridgeport to Virgil and Pearl Martin, she was a cook and homemaker. She read her Bible, listened to music, played cards, put together puzzles and spent time with family and friends. She watched Christian Television Networks.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Don Church.
She is survived by her sons, Don Church Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Grand Prairie, Bruce Church of Fort Worth and Mike Church and wife, Tammy, of Aledo; daughters, Sharon Duncan and husband, David, of Runaway Bay and Lisa Dunaway and husband, Robert, of Keller; brothers, R.V. and Billy Jack Martin; sisters, Marie Cobb, Bobbie Read, Shirley McNeil and Reba McKeever; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Davy Duncan, Donnie Church, B.W. Church, Cody Church, Canton Church and Matthew Dunaway. Honorary pallbearer will be Kyle Church. |
