| Funeral for Elaine Lois Barnett, 80, of Saginaw was to be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport with the Rev. Danny Howe officiating. Burial was to follow at Chico Cemetery. |
 Barnett died Oct. 8, 2008, in Lewisville.
Born Nov. 2, 1927, in Chico to Carl and Bessie (Flowers) Lowrey, she was a retired bookkeeper at Montgomery Wards and a member of the Eastern Star of Chico.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Barnett, and her brother, Gordon Lowrey.
She is survived by her son, Greg Barnett and wife, Debbie, of Plano; four grandchildren, Daniel Barnett, Greg Barnett Jr., Angela Barnett and Melain Wielken and husband, Les, of Irving; three great-grandchildren, Madeline Barnett, Parker Wielkens and Presley Wielkens; two nieces and a nephew.
Pallbearers were to be Greg Barnett Jr., Daniel Barnett, Joel Lowrey and Jim Austin. |
