| Funeral for Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Culp Reed, 85, of Conroe was Tuesday, Oct. 7, in Beaumont. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery. |
 Reed died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, in Conroe.
Born June 3, 1923, to Clyde and Mabel Culp in Bowie, she spent most of her childhood in Decatur. She graduated from Decatur High School and Decatur Baptist College.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph C. Reed; her daughter, Vivian Goodwin Wimberly; sister, Opal Davis; and the father of her children, Joe B. Goodwin.
She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Goodwin Easley and Melinda Goodwin McGowan; grandchildren, David C. Walker, Cara F. Kokel, Melissa L. Hanks, Robert (Bob) E. McGowan, Madeleine (Molly) M. Aguirre, Thomas C. Easley and Ashley E. Easley; and great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Jacob, Jessica, Sandra, Ryan and Lucy. |
