| Funeral for Kiker Javier Plaza, 5, of Denton was to be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Southmont Baptist Church in Denton. Burial was to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. |
 Plaza died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, in Dallas.
Born Sept. 19, 2004, in Denton to Francisco Javier Plaza and Candace Niblett Plaza, he was waiting for a heart transplant at Children's Medical Center in Dallas at the time of his death. He attended Mother's Day Out at Southmont Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents; sisters, Isabella Nichole Plaza and Magdalena Lee Plaza; brothers, Marc Anthony Plaza and Jakob Manuel Plaza; grandparents, Jane Kiker Niblett, Lonnie and Margaret Niblett and Magdalena Plaza; great-grandmother, Herminia Montecillo; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers were to be Juan Plaza, Marc Plaza, Curt Stephens and Cody Schroeder. |
