| Funeral for Helen Lorrine Ewing, 61, of Decatur was to be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Johnson officiating. Burial was to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. |
 Ewing died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, in Decatur.
Born May 24, 1948, in Belen, N.M., to John Alonso and Gladys Ruth (Murphy) Graham, she married George Colvin Ewing III Dec. 17, 1973, in Durant, Okla. She retired Sept. 30, 2008, as a government contract specialist and material purchaser.
She is survived by her husband; daughters, Debra Waites and husband, Michael, of Watauga, and Maria Bowman of Dawson; a son, Jeff Ewing and wife, Cynthia, of Buckeye, Ariz.; granddaughters, Tiffany Ewing, Miriah Waites, Amber and Michelle Jones, all of Watauga, and Felicia Ewing of Dawson; and a great-granddaughter, Loriann Jones.
Pallbearers were to be Larry Dalton, John Greene, Herschel Box, Jimmy Ragan, Michael Waites and Will May. |
