 Montgomery died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, in Decatur.
Born Feb. 15, 1916, in Montague County to William and Matilda (Weinman) Hachtel, she was a homemaker. She married Marion H. Montgomery Dec. 27, 1939, in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a stepdaughter, Emma Faye Robinson; three brothers, Albert, Marvin and Melvin Hachtel; and a sister, Flora Branch.
She is survived by two sons, M.H. Montgomery and Dalton Montgomery and wife, Sharon, all of Decatur; grandchildren, Angie Browning and husband, Sean, Chad, Clay and Allison Montgomery, all of Decatur; great-grandchildren, Cade, Morgan, Payton, Hayden and Zayne Montgomery; a sister, Clara Doyle of Slidell; and numerous nieces and nephews. |
