| Graveside service for Ruby B. Black, 91, of Bridgeport is at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at East Bridgeport Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Sessions officiating. Visitation was to be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. |
 Black died Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, in Bridgeport.
Born Feb. 23, 1918, in Decatur to Coy and Jewell (Cook) McEntire, she was a retired nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Black; grandchildren, Bruce and Sammy; sister, Lena Tackel; and brother, Hugh McEntire.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris Hill of Bridgeport; sons, Sam J. Black and wife, Sue, of Chico and Richard Black and wife, Debra, of Decatur; grandchildren, Lee, Doug and Russell; great-grandchildren, Brandie, Skylar and Braiden; and sister, Eula Neighbors of Springtown. |
