Fay Granny Gilley
1930-2009

Funeral for Fay "Granny" Gilley, 79, of Bridgeport was Oct. 4 at Cates Street Church of Christ with Roger Rhodes and Shorty Fallin officiating. Burial followed at East Bridgeport Cemetery.
Born July 1, 1930, in Springtown to Fred and Nora (Stevens) Hall, she married Tom Gilley May 15, 1949, in Olney. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cates Street Church of Christ, where she volunteered and was the vacation Bible school refreshment coordinator. She was a volunteer at the Children's Homes in Keller, Christ's Haven in Keller, Trinity Health Care and August Health Care in Bridgeport.

She was preceded in death by her husband; great-grandson, Rex; and brothers, Lewis and Gene Hall.

She is survived by her son, Noel Gilley and wife, Teri, of Paradise; daughters, Gladys Pewitt and husband, Jerry, of Paradise, Beth Andreasen and husband, Earnest, of Bridgeport and Tommie Jo Underwood and husband, Von, of Paradise; grandchildren, Paula, Calvin, Jeff, Ronnie, Christi, Julie, Chrystal, Garrett, Cody and Roper; great-grandchildren, Shayna, Taylor, Allie, Mario, Zachary, Fay, Conner, Madison, Cole, Tuff, Macy, Gunner and Kashton; sister, Sue Bentley of Bridgeport; and brother, Perry Hall of Decatur.

Pallbearers were Calvin Pewitt, Jeff Pewitt, Cody Gilley, Roper Gilley, Ronnie Andreasen, Garrett Underwood, Eric Rutledge, Brian Holley and Keith Eustace.
