| Funeral for Iris Jean Grimes, 68, of Decatur is Friday, Nov. 6, at Greenwood Chapel with entombment at Greenwood Mausoleum in Fort Worth. Visitation was to be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home. |
 Grimes died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009.
She was born Nov. 24, 1940, in Fort Worth to W.W. and Venna Yarbrough.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Coy Don Grimes, and daughter-in-law, Adrianna Grimes.
She is survived by her children, Kathryn Elser and husband, Kenneth, Donna Fry and husband, Buzzy, Laurie Grimes, Coy Grimes and Sandra LePine and husband, Joseph; her mother; brothers, Woodrow Yarbrough Jr. and John Yarbrough; sister, Deanna Culpepper; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
