| Graveside service for James W.F. Gallop, 84, of Boyd was Sunday, Nov. 1, at Hog Branch Cemetery in Boyd with the Rev. Cabel Roberts officiating. |
Gallop died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, in Boyd.
Born Sept. 29, 1925, in Petrolia to William and Bertha Mae Gallop, he married Jeannie Clements Sept. 3, 1954, in Fort Worth. He was the retired owner of Gallop Paint & Body Shop.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Johnnie Mouie, Jackie Livingston and Aline Etten, and sons-in-law, Jack Burke and Ronnie Kling.
He is survived by his wife; children, Rodney Harris and wife, Fama, of Sunset, Jimmy Gallop and wife, Terri, of Alba, Patti Kling of Boyd, Sandy Duffy and husband, Paul, of Minneola, Bobbie Gardner and husband, Russell, of Arlington, Jana Burke of Richardson and Norma Jean Gallop of Boyd; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ernest Gallop and wife, Becky, of Oklahoma City.
Pallbearers were Jacob Gallop, Casey Sullivan, Dustin Kling, Casey Harris, Cory Duffy, Damon Drake, Jonathan McBurnett, Ronnie Bowman, Paul Duffy and Russell Gardner. |
