| Funeral for Betty Lou Perkins, 81, of Azle is 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Autry officiating. Burial is at Boyd Cemetery and a reception will be held at 5 p.m. at the Fort Worth Angler's Club on Eagle Mountain Lake. Visitation is 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday. |
Perkins died Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, in Fort Worth.
Born June 7, 1928, in Everett, Pa., to George and Eva M. (Clark) Leader, she married Millard Perkins Aug. 13, 1949, in Fort Worth. She was a homemaker and a member of the Briar Baptist Church and the Fort Worth Angler's Club.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Gwendolyn Oliver and husband, Billy, of Granbury; sons, Roderick Perkins of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Clifford Perkins of Fort Worth; granddaughter, Chelsea Oliver; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Gary Brock, Bob Brummett, Roy Stell, Jackie Cooper, James Parviettie and Shorty Miller. |
