| Funeral for Nona M. Thompson, 92, of Boyd was Thursday, Oct. 8, at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Autry officiating. |
 Thompson died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, in Boyd.
Born July 18, 1917, in Millsap to John W. and Josefine (Bean) Thompson, she married David Baty Thompson Dec. 24, 1941, in Decatur. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Texas Star Lunch Bunch. She crocheted and was a retired rancher.
She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Richard Lee Thompson; and brothers, W.O., Codis, O.H. and Auvis Niblett.
She is survived by daughters Mabel Thompson and husband, George, of Boyd, Stella Redmon and husband, Scotty, of Boyd and Yvonne Reasoner and husband, Paul, of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Michelle Thompson and husband, Randy, Alicia Nelson and husband, Paul, Greg Reasoner and wife, Candice, and Kimberly Reasoner; two great-grandchildren, Braxton and Camdyn Reasoner; and numerous other family members.
Pallbearers were Scott Redmon, George Thompson, Randy Thompson, Fred Reasoner, Paul Nelson and Alvin Niblett. |
