| Funeral for Kent Odell Powell, 27, of Longview, and formerly of Decatur, was Sept. 25 at Decatur Church of Christ with Rick Ross officiating. Burial was at Oaklawn Cemetery. |
 Powell died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, in Fort Worth.
Born Feb. 20, 1982, in Fort Worth to Phillip and Teresa (Wolf) Powell, he graduated from Decatur High School in 2000. He graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in geography and worked as a fracturing coordinator for Select Services in Longview. He married Natalie Mosley Dec. 22, 2006, in Plano. He was a member of Alpine Church of Christ in Longview.
He is survived by his wife; son, Cason Powell of Longview; father of Bryan; mother of Decatur; brother, Trevor Powell and wife, Christina, of Weatherford; and grandfather, Gene Wolf, of Bridgeport.
Pallbearers were Brad Culberson, Chase Coffman, Trevor Powell, Adam Piper, Darren Luera and Jonavan Jordan. |
