EDC Chairman Roy Eaton reported Harrison received a satisfactory evaluation. No salary decisions will be made until the budget is finalized later this summer.
Board members heard DEDC could struggle to make its budget this year. June receipts of $90,785 bring income to $950,609 for six months, from a budget of $1,250,000.
City Manager Brett Shannon said it could be tight, but the income will not be off by much.
He said other area towns are seeing significant drops in sales tax income, which is what funds the EDC.
For the first half of the calendar year, Decatur's sales tax receipts remain 2 percent ahead of last year.
He also reported the Decatur Civic Center has received $517,054 this year with expenses of $770,256, for 68 percent coverage, which is considered good for such a facility.
EDC will host an anniversary celebration for Poco Graphite July 9 with a barbecue at the civic center from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. A program is planned at 2. Invitations are planned for Poco retirees.
Harrison reported on business contacts at the International Council of Shopping Centers conference she and Mayor Joe Lambert attended and learned of several potential business prospects.
