Jennifer Bailey, 19, of Roanoke was sentenced to 60 years in prison.
"She pled (Monday) morning to murder in exchange for a plea bargain offer of 60 years," said Jamie Beck, Denton County assistant district attorney. "She will be eligible for parole after serving half her sentence."
Bailey was scheduled to go to trial Nov. 16.
Susan Bailey was found dead in her Roanoke home on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, with fatal stab wounds to her neck, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office.
Roanoke Police responded to the home after they received a call from police in Yankton, S.D., early Sunday morning. Yankton police had stopped a vehicle registered to Susan Bailey and occupied by Jennifer Bailey, Paul Allen Henson Jr. and Jennifer's 14-year-old brother.
Henson, 17, of Haslet, a former Northwest student, was sentenced to 60 years in prison in June after pleading guilty to murder. Henson was Jennifer Bailey's boyfriend.
The Denton County District Attorney's Office cannot give out information on the brother because of his age.
