Steve Sims of Decatur, longtime banker in Tarrant County, has joined First Financial Bank as a senior vice president of lending. He will office at First Financial's Decatur location.

Sims has more than 32 years of experience in the banking industry, serving most recently as market president of Frost Bank in Grapevine. He has served as president of the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce, director of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce, president of the Grapevine Rotary, the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association. He was also a member of the Grapevine Revitalization Committee.
Sims is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
