NEWARK CRUISIN' DAYS - The 22nd Annual Cruisin Days is Saturday, Oct. 17, in Newark. 135 YEARS OLD - Hopewell Baptist Church at 280 County Road 2391 in Alvord will celebrate the 135th anniversary of the founding of the church along with the dedication of their new sanctuary on Sunday, Oct. 18.
