| Duane and Crystal Peace of Bridgeport announce the birth of a son, Vanden Duane, born Sept. 11, 2009, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. |
He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Grandparents are Tommy and Marieanne Fitzgerald of Bridgeport and Jeff and Kathy Boston of Decatur.
Great-grandparent is Sue Fitzgerald of Bridgeport.
