| Steve and Melissa Hill of Bridgeport announce the birth of a son, Ian Layne, born Oct. 5, 2009, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. |
He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.
He has one sister, Abbey, 9.
Grandparents are Jon and Paula Copeland and Richard and Donna Hill, all of Bridgeport, and Leona and Rod Sutherland of Irving.
