Erin Michelle Barnett of Decatur and Derek Dean LaFitte of Houston were married March 14, 2009, at The Rabb House in Round Rock. Judge Dain Johnson officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Brenda Scott and the late Tom Barnett.

The groom is the son of Damon and Debbie LaFitte of Houston.

The bride wore a strapless white chiffon gown whose bodice featured rousching and beaded lace, a corset back and a sweep train. She wore an elbow-length veil with crystal edging and carried a bouquet of multi-colored tulips.

Matron of honor was Mary Morgan. Bridesmaids were Bethany Richmond and Jessica Stapleton.

Attendants wore long, dark purple dresses and each carried one white tulip.

Flowergirls were Krysten Morgan, daughter of Doug and Mary Morgan, and Allyse and Julia Warren, daughters of Mark and Dyvette Warren.

Best man was Eric Burns. Groomsmen were Jose Marin and Josh Ginn.

Guestbook attendant was Machalia Morgan.

Servers were Katie and Sydni Stapleton.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Decatur High School and attended Texas Woman's University. She is employed by James Wood Autopark.

The groom attended Texas A&M University is employed by James Wood Autopark.

Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple live in Sanger.
