| Tom and Jackie Merritt of Decatur celebrated their 45th anniversary Saturday, June 6, 2009. |
Tom and the former Jackie Swink were married June 6, 1964, in Colleyville. Tom is the pastor of the First Baptist Church in Crafton. Jackie is a retired elementary school teacher.
Children of the couple are Laurie Merritt Griffin and husband, Shad, of Denton and Michael Merritt and wife, Angie, of Aubrey. Grandchildren are Annie Rose LiMing Griffin, 5, and Mason Thomas Merritt, 17 months.
