| Leah Danelle Coggin and Kristopher Lee Throckmorton, both of Alvord, were married April 24, 2009, at Paradise on the Hill in Aubrey. David White officiated the double ring ceremony. |
The bride is the daughter of Bobby and Pam Coggin of Bowie.
The groom is the son of Ricky and Stacie Throckmorton of Bowie.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a ivory gown and veil with crystal embellishments. She carried a bouquet of vintage blush pink and ivory roses with platinum accents.
The maid of honor was Whitney Coggin, the bride's sister. Bridesmaids were Ricka Reynolds, Brooke Hunter, Brianne Rhoades, Jennifer McCarn and Meghan Stine. The attendants wore platinum gray dresses and carried blush pink bouquets with champagne highlights.
Flowergirls were Marissa Ledford and Kellbie Throckmorton.
The best man was Justin Throckmorton, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brandon Leonard, Aaron Meyers, Casey Wade, Justin Ratliff and Rayse Richardson. Ushers were Brian Hunter and Ben Jackson.
A reception at Paradise on the Hill followed the ceremony.
The bride attended Bowie High School and the University of Texas School of Nursing. She works in the coronary care unit at Wise Regional Health System.
The groom attended Bowie High School and is a firefighter and paramedic with the Arlington Fire Department.
Following a wedding trip to Chateau Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada, the couple live in Alvord.
