| Reece and Berniece Landers of Bridgeport will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, July 25. |
Reece and the former Berniece Tims were married July 25, 1959, in Bowie.
They have three daughters, Karen Culpepper and husband, James, of Bridgeport, Karla Hattan and husband, Ricky, of Gainesville and Samantha Remington and husband, Matt, of Decatur; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Reece is retired after 30 years at Lone Star Gas Company. He is a contract pumper for Billy Morrow and is a deacon at Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Berniece is the secretary at Pleasant View Baptist Church. She worked in the insurance department at the Family Clinic for Dr. David Ray for many years.
The couple will celebrate their anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. July 25, at the Pleasant View Baptist Church with their children and family.
