| Jennifer Dyan McCook and Michael Cody Martin, both of Fort Worth, were married June 6, 2009, at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston. |
The bride is the daughter of Diana Cowan of Krum and James McCook of Broad Brook, Conn.
The groom is the son of the late Kathleen Pierce of Houston and Michael Martin of Aurora, Colo.
The couple hosted friends and family at Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, for a symbolic beach wedding ceremony the weekend following their wedding. A reception was held June 27 at the Masonic Temple in Fort Worth for those who could not attend the beach wedding.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Slidell High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She is working on a nursing degree.
The groom is a partner at Martin Group Building, LLC.
The couple lives in Fort Worth.
