| Jerry and Nancy Myers of Decatur will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, at Decatur Civic Center. |
Jerry and the former Nancy Potts were married Aug. 9, 1959, in Petersburg, Ind.
Their children are Kelly of Decatur, Dan of Denton, David of Lockhart and Laci Bean of Cross Plains. They have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Jerry is an airline pilot and Nancy is a housewife. Both are members of the Greenwood Church of Christ.
