| Catie Rae Burke of Arlington and Seth Pollard McGilvray of Saginaw were married June 2, 2009, at Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica. |
The bride is the daughter of Pat Burke and the granddaughter of Bill and Doris Scoggins, all of Southlake.
The groom is the son of Julie and David Stroud of Saginaw and the grandson of Bob and Betty Pollard of Keller. He is the great-grandson of Johnnie Thomas of Whitney.
A celebration of the marriage was Aug. 1, 2009, at the Studio Movie Grill in Arlington. Guests watched a video of the wedding and a slide show presented by Jordan Chadsey, cousin of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington where she received her bachelor of science degree. She is employed by UT Southwestern Medical Center.
The groom attended Keller High School and Tarrant County College. He is a grocery director with Tom Thumb Foods.
Following a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple live in Arlington.
