| Ashlee Nicole Cooper of Justin and Jason Michael Benedick of Decatur were married Aug. 29, 2009, at Victory Family Church in Decatur. Allen Bates officiated the double ring ceremony. |
The bride is the daughter of Kimberly and Jerry Burger of Denton and Gary and Kristina Cooper of Rhome.
The groom is the son of Bill and Susie Benedick of Decatur.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white satin A-line gown adorned with crystal beads and a corset laced back. She wore an elbow-length veil with crystal beaded sequins and a crystal tiara. She carried a nosegay bouquet of fuschia roses.
Maid of honor was Kaylee Cooper of Rhome, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Andrea Benedick of Decatur, sister of the groom, Allie Worthington of Decatur, Kelsey Shrum of Slidell and Alyssia Davis of Rhome, sister of the bride.
Attendants wore black, floor-length gowns and carried bouquets of fuschia roses.
Flower girl was Sadee Carsten of Bridgeport, cousin of the groom, and Cheyenne Cooper of Rhome, sister of the bride.
Ringbearer was Andrew Carsten of Bridgeport, cousin of the groom.
Best man was Billy Benedick of Northlake, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Chase Villado of Decatur, Tyler Robbins of Decatur, Jeff Torres of Decatur and Cody Barksdale of Krum, cousin of the bride.
Ushers were Zach Carsten of Bridgeport, Brady Burger of Denton, Chance Cooper of Rhome and Cooper Barksdale of Krum.
Following the ceremony, a wedding reception was held at Decatur Civic Center.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Decatur High School.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Decatur High School and is employed by Platinum Pressure Service of Decatur.
Following a trip to Niagra Falls, the couple reside in Decatur.
