From the first time I met Judy, I knew she was someone with a story to tell. The way she had come to see life -being able to see beauty in everything around her, from a spider spinning a web to receiving a face-licking by her dog.

I’ve come to know Judy pretty well over the last year and feel honored that she has allowed me on this journey with her. The photographic journey began last fall when Judy visited her doctor in Dallas. Other photos were taken in the following months – many at her home and others at various events and places special to her.

I only hope that my photos can convey even partially her strength of character, warmness and caring for everyone around her even as she faces her most challenging time.

Thanks Judy.
