Evan and Rebecca Culpepper of Decatur will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 23, with a reception hosted by their children at First Baptist Church in Decatur. Evan Culpepper and the former Rebecca Ivey were married Feb. 22, 1958, in Belton. The couple has three children, Mark Culpepper and wife, Diance, of Boyd, Cindy Wray of Godley and Jane Jea and husband, Emory, of Justin. Evan was a crew chief for American Airlines. Rebecca was a nurse at Trinity High School in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District. Evan is President of the Wise County Youth Fair. They are both members of First Baptist Church in Decatur.
