Ruben and Barbara Pinkerton

Fiftieth wedding anniversary May 4, 2008

Ruben and Barbara Pinkerton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, May 4, 2008.

Ruben and the former Barbara Ann Sparks were married May 4, 1958, at the Baptist church in Wall.

They have one son, Tracy, of Decatur, three grandsons and five great-grandchildren.

Ruben and Barbara owned Pinkerton Grocery for 44 years.

Ruben works at IGA and Barbara owns Decatur Art School.
