T.W. 'Bill' Brumett
1925-2008
Funeral for T.W. "Bill" Brumett, 82, of Chico will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19 at Morris Memorial United Methodist Church in Chico with the Revs. David Shawver and Johnny Irish officiating. Burial will be at the Chico Cemetery.
Brumett died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at his home.
Born July 19, 1925, in San Antonio to Tom and Vadah (Brown) Brumett, he married Edna Newman Dec. 1, 1951, in Port Arthur.
He retired from General Motors and was a member of the United Auto Workers. He was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife; son, Thomas O. "Tommy" Brumett and wife, Eve, of Decatur; daughter, Judy Newman and husband, John, of Mesquite; grandchildren, Caitlin Brumett, Josh Brumett, Heather Hopper and John-Thomas Newman.
Pallbearers will be Joe Campbell, John Jensen, Josh Brumett, Curtis Stevens, Lloyd Newman and John Newman.
